Preparation of  scaife:

 

• Clean the smoothing area and wipe until dry

​

• Apply 0.2 - 0.5 carat of  paste on the surface of a smoothing area and distribute it evenly

 

• Impregnate the paste into the surface of the smoothing area with the metal plate

​

• Clean the smoothing area and wipe until dry

 

• Open the smoothing area

 

• The open area never makes any noise and stains the facet
